12-Session Package
Phase 1 — Change Your Mindset
Mindset – how you think about things – is everything. We’ll take a look at your current mindset about yourself, your time, and your life and address any negative thoughts, doubts, and criticism. Then using specific coaching techniques, we’ll work to change that mindset for when you’re feeling stuck, like when you just can’t get off the couch to go to that spin class or you’re staring down piles of laundry that aren’t going to do themselves. This new mindset will be the primary tool you use to start going after the life that you want!
Phase 2 — Self-Care & Self-Worth
Fulfillment in life starts with fulfillment in yourself. Building a solid foundation of self-care (which is way more than just wine and bubble baths, by the way) increases your self-worth, which allows you to feel safe and free to explore and do things – in other words, motivation!
-
We’ll focus on your D.E.A.R. (Diet, Exercise, Activities, and Rest) and create a plan to make all of these consistent, and a priority, in your daily life – like setting a realistic bedtime or scheduling naps or meditation breaks in your workday. These four domains contribute to your holistic wellness, starting with your body. When your body feels well, your mind feels well. And when your mind feels well, you’re more motivated to do what you need to do, as well as add more to your life that makes you happy.
-
We’ll do some guided imagination work to paint a picture of how you want your life to look and feel, then fill in the details so you have concrete action steps to start doing. “I want a happy, fulfilling life that’s more than just work and sleep” becomes “I want to go to concerts once a month and play on a soccer team.” Then you could start looking for concerts that interest you and soccer leagues in town to prepare you to start building the life you want.
-
We’ll start building your new, fulfilling life! As you practice the action steps from Step 2, we’ll review and address any mindset blocks that come up to haunt you, and refine them as needed so you’ll know exactly what to say to yourself if you feel discouraged. If you overslept and missed your morning yoga Zoom, instead of beating yourself up about it, you’ll say “I had a rough night of sleep, it’s okay that I missed yoga today. I’ll make it to the next one” and move on with your day. With every new habit you build, you’ll awaken more and more to the happy, satisfied, motivated life you’ve always wanted.
Phase 3 — Work & Career
Fulfillment in life does not have to come from work or a career. It can, but it doesn’t have to. Understanding the role that work plays in the grand scheme of your life helps you make decisions about the time and energy that you give it.
-
We’ll explore what work and career mean to you and determine where it falls in your happiness and fulfillment priorities. Using specific investigation techniques, we’ll tackle any conflicts or fears that you have about work, like “Who am I outside of work?” or “Is it okay if I don’t really want a career?” so that you feel guilt-free, confident, and in control of how much time you spend on your job and career.
-
We’ll develop action steps to improve the quality and decrease the quantity of time and energy that you spend on work by streamlining time management and practicing saying no to things outside of your scope, so you’re no longer drowning in your entire team’s workload while they’re all on vacation. When you’re less drained by work, you have more time – and motivation – for life!
Phase 4 — Relationships & Community
Fulfillment in life includes relationships that feel good, safe, and strong. When you’ve got your self-worth and work/life balance on the right track, you have the inner stability and outward-focused energy to build the relationships and community that best support you.
-
Time and energy are finite resources, and relationships take up both. We’ll take a look any areas in your life where you’re giving too much without enough in return or not feeling able to say no to things, then develop strategies for setting and maintaining boundaries, so you’re confidently saying yes to things you’re excited about and know that you can commit to. This frees up your precious time and energy for yourself and relationships that truly fulfill you.
-
We’ll explore what makes healthy relationships, practice social skills, and build your vision of a community where you find support, encouragement, and belonging. You might say, “I want creative friends to collaborate on projects with.” Then you’ll take action steps to make it happen, like joining an art studio or going to local open mic nights and introducing yourself to new, likeminded people. You’ll be on your way to having the strong, supportive community you’ve always wanted!
Your journey is now complete! Congratulations – you’ve found your way to a satisfied, happy, fulfilling life where you’re motivated to do the things you need – and love – to do!
